• Jan,the Western USA is a huge area, where do you live? Borough Green has altered considerably,new roads etc, Crow Hill Rd the same though.Do you remember the holiday we had in St Ives, Cornwall. You forgot your makeup and called your mum to send it, but you didn't need it you looked great with or without. I am teaching History At secondary school, but wiil be retiring soon.Time flies! hI**MY SEVERAL X GREAT GRANDPARENTS ARE WILLIAM WAKEMAN AND SARAH PARISE OR PARISH. THEY WERE MARRIED IN 1838 AND IT STATES ON THE MARRIRAGE CERT THEY BOTH ARE RESIDENT IN IGHTMAN. I am trying to find some information about a childrens home that was in **Hextable. I have an uncle who was placed there between 1930 - 1936~ **he is now in his eighties and is suffering from cancer and is trying to find **out more about the home. He rembers thta it was mainly if not soley for **children from naval families. Seeking info on one Brian Brett who emigrated from UK to Australia in about 1958 from Harlesden~ London. Brian was~ after leaving school in about 1950~ apprenticed to a printer and this may be his trade in Australia~ although he may well be retired by now. hi~**I have researched my family history back to 1830 (with others) and have links **with Seal nr Sevenoaks. My family lived in a house that formed part of a row of **houses (i assume) addressed as 'The Cut'. This may have been a local term at **the time.**I cannot find any trace of this and wondered if anybody could help me work out **where in Seal~ this place was around 1880-1900. My greatgreatfather is buried **in St. Nicholas church and his grave is there todate. If anybody is interested **in my family tree~ please feel free to contact me. Thanks Paul Ives
