Any info on Harriett Winter b1840 Father was John Winter lived on Chediston st around 1857.Also Henry Ward b 1836 he married Harriett Winter in 1857 his father was William a shoemaker from Chediston. They had a Child called Henry Winter Ward b 1858/59. The 1861 Census show Henry living with grandparents in Chediston by 1871 they move to Kent.I know I have some info~ but would love to know more about the Winter line. The address on Marriage Cert is Chediston street. and married at the Parish Church in thr parish of Halesworth. Are thesestill there? Thanks

Our family lived in Dunwich from the 1750's - 1960's. We recently came across a family of Dixes living in Uggeshall with children born between 1789 and 1800. Parents were Michael and Elizabeth (nee Freeman). Does anyone know if they were connected to the Dunwich family~ please? Is there any connection between Dunwich and Uggeshall? I am researching my Benns family line. William Benns was a blacksmith who married Susan Lyon in 1816 at Wangford.
