Hi I am tyring to trace my ancestors. I understand that my grandfarthers grandfarther had the village named after him. Would love to hear from any rickerbys. to try and clear up a few myths and skeletons.**Do the names John Edward or Benjamin mean anything to anyone?

I am doing my family history research and have recently visited the school at **Blackford and was able to confirm that my Great Grandfather Isaac Hetherington **went to this school along with brothers James and Robert and a sister **Elizabeth. They lived at the Wideopendykes Farm nearby. I am tracing my ancestors. My great grandfather was killed in the first world **war. I beleive his name is on a monument in Cargo. Could anyone please confirm **his christan name.
