I am researching my husband's family history and I am trying to find out about his great grandfather - ANSELM MOULTON - who lived at Beltring House in 1900. I am struggling to find any information about the Moulton family who lived in Beltring House for a short time.

Can anyone help me I am trying to trace my 3x great grandfather THOMAS NOWERS. I know he was born in Otterden in 1805-6. He was one of 11 children born to JOHN NOWERS and MARIA SOUTHGATE both John and Maria where born in Lenham.****I have been trying to find the marriage for my 3x great grandfather Thomas Nowers & Mary Horton? but am unable to find one in St Pauls Deptford which is where they moved to and had my 2x great grandfather John so I was wondering if they could have been married in the Otterden area? ****If anyone knows anything about the Nowers that lived in the Otterden area I would very grateful of any information that you can give me. I am looking for my father's cousin Arthur Herbert Morgan & his wife Leonora Croft.They married in Hawkhurst in 1924 They had a daughter Leonora E born in 1927 in East Ashford & a son David A born in 1932. in the same place. Hello - I am researching my Keeler family tree and have come to a brickwall. My great x 4 grandfather William Keeler was born in Pluckley 1814. His parents were William and Frances (nee Peters) and as far as I can see he had a brother Ashley and 2 sisters Mary & Ellen. I am currently researching the Silverton family history. It would appear that Thomas Silverton married Elizabeth Leafgreen Crowcher in 1769. Her parents were John Crowcher (d 1785) & Elizabeth Leafgreen. Johns father was John Crowcher who died in 1793. The death being registered in Chatham.**I have noticed from Burial Records that a Robert Crowcher died on 21 April 1666 and the record shows Otterdean/St Lawrence.**Any help re the Crowcher/Leafgreen/Silverton connection would be much appreciated.**Peter Silverton

I am looking for the STUPPLES~ CULLEN~ ALLEN AND SUTTON families who lived in and around the district of Bridge~ Kent. ALFRED CULLEN I think was the butcher in Upper Hardres and his daughter Elizabeth married JAMES STUPPLES in 1865. Her Grandfather was JAMES ALLEN born in 1791 in Ashford and lived in Lower Hardres. GEORGE SUTTON born in Ash born 1829 was a soldier and married a Florence Nightingale nurse Eliza Coleman or Collias?. They moved to the Thanet area. Their son HENRY WILLIAM SUTTON was my Nan' father and they lived in in Monkton. Sound familiar in your tree or you live in these areas and remember these names. Hello will veiw this as a strange and upsetting comment but it needs to be said. My wife and I visited Ashford on the last day of a six week holiday to the UK. We are from New Zealand.We were two hours from catching our plane. We were in a rental car we parked behind a pub and whent to geta felt pen we were away fiften minuets.We came back to find the car wheel clamped by All Counties Parking Controll. We were financialy raped and subject to exstortion by these thugs 300 pounds 1000 $nz. their ticket was illegal but to fight in court will cost more than the fine.You need to know that we will never visit the UK again and we cab afford to and at every oppertunity we tell all our friends about the shabby and fritening we were treated in Ashford.

Is there anybody with any information regarding the Palmer family who were **living in the Pluckley area around 1860. From the information I have so far is **that the father John Palmer was born in Bethersden c1839~ he had 3 children **while living in pluckley between 1862-1868.**Any information would be most welcome**Gary
