I'm trying to research my grandmother's family. Her name was Irene Salvage and she was a parlour maid for a Colonel & his family who lived in either Pangbourne or Whitchurch in 1932. Any info on the Colonel and where he lived would be great - he had quite a large number of staff inc a butler~ so must have had a fair sized home. If anyone can help I'd be very grateful.
