My G.G.G.Grandfather Charles Leat & Wife Harriet nee Ransom~ they married in 1808~ St James~ Bath. **Lived in Walcot & Lyncombe in the early 1800's where they had their family. The children were baptised in St Swithens~ Walcot & St Marks Church~ Lyncombe.**Some of the children went to live in Stoke on Trent and some to Middlesex.**Charles I think worked in Burdetts Building as a Porter I can find nothing out about this place. They lived in Marlborough Place & Widcombe Parade.****Can anyone give me any information about the above.****Even better still are there any Leat's still living around there ! !

I will be traveling to Bath England in May 2009. i would like to research my fathers ancestry while I am there~ he was born in Bath England in 1909 parents were Ada Shervin Sarjeant and Ernest Sarjeant. They imigrated to the US around 1923.

My gg grandfather John Palmer married Sophia Biggs on 20th October 1814 at St Mark's church - Lyncombe and Widcombe.**Sophia was born in Widcombe and John in St Martin in the Fields~ Westminster. I am trying to trace Sophia's family from Widcombe.
