I would love to receive any information regarding the Shoulder of Mutton public house in Pinkneys Green. My great great Aunt, Amy Brain (nee Harman) was landlady in the late 1800's. I believe that the pub no longer exists.

More information regarding my seach for living relatives~ my great grandfather Alfred John Cox was born abt~ 1869 at Kingsclere. Married Augusta Ewers~ 1898 at Hurley. In 1911Alfred [manager/tenant of Dew Drop Inn] his father was living at Powney Rd~ M'head.~ also his brother Herbert~ Alfred divorced his wife this same year~presumed to have gone to Canada[can anyone confirm]?

Does anyone know of family members descending from~ Robert Cox~who married Eliza~(abt1862). Their children were~Louisa~Alfred J(my great grandfather)~ Arthur~Caroline~Edith E~Herbert~Robert.All were born around the Maidenhead area. Would love to hear from you.

Hi~ **I am looking for any information on the Bradford/Fagg Families from Wraysbury~Horton~Langley~ Slough and surrounding areas. I think there are still some Bradford's in these areas. I know Bradfords have been in Wraysbury/Horton since early 1800's~ also my Nan had the first set of twins born in Wraysbury (so im told).

Hi I am trying to trace my amcestors the NEALES i think i have found them on the 1841~61~71 census in clewer village~ william born apx 1800 was a bricklayer. i think his parents could be wiolliam and sarah neale. this william was a shoemaker. if i am correct then william 1800c son thomas born apx 1828 is my line. i cant find him on the 1841 census with family but did find 2 thomas'~ one in ready county goal who was born in Berks and another whihc the page was very bad so couldnt understand it. if anyone has any Neales in their trees ect then please let me know~ many thanks michelle

Can anybody give me information about 70 Alma Rd~ Clewer? Might it have been a hospital at some time? I was born at that address way~ way back in 1934. My parents were living at Englefield Green at the time. Was wondering how come I arrived in the world at Clewer.
