I am looking for any information on William J. Knight Sr. He was born abt 1793 and burried in Ludborogh in 1853. Was a blacksmith and a carpenter. Lived on a large estate near ludborough. Some who related to the Royals of England. Not sure who his wife was. But had a son William Knight born 25 march 1817. William jr. married a Mary Mason. they came to the US about 1850 or 51.

In the 1891 census my granfather was aged 23. Therfore he was born in 1868b approx. There is and entry of a Joseph Jackson being born at Helsby Lincolnshire which I have interpreted as Helsey Lincolnshire North Ormsby.Can you help me with any information**Kind Regards**Les Jackson

I require help in finding the whereabouts in Ashby Cum Fenby of a farm once **called Ashley. ## My family in the 1881 census lived there. The names were **Richard H HEWSON~ Sarah Jane wife~ and children Christopher 5~ Edith 4~ Joseph **2 and Ellen 7 months. Richard was a waggoner and agricultural labourer. I would **be very grateful if anyone in Ashby Cum Fenby could elaborate on this for me. **My brother is coming over from Australia in September and we would love to be **able to visit.
