The ancestors of both John SWALLOW & Bruce SMITH were born in Great Munden. Bruce and I have abt 200 SWALLOW individuals held in a SWALLOW RESOURCE database~ which we manage. We and the other members of the Hertfordshire SWALLOW Forum are always seeking new contacts with the object of exchanging and improving the local SWALLOW history. trying to trace my late father.s family~ who lived and worked in the area ~ my dad said they worked at the big house~ i heard the term parish house for their lodgings .**this was either side of 1900- 1935 i think .**dad has just passed recently so i have time to make up for and find out where he came from .
