I'm searching for any other information on the Reverend Francis Joseph Moore (1826-1896) who served for 23 years at Bottesford Church. His gravestone is prominent in the same churchyard. Back in the 1950's my grandfather Fred Moore ( 1896-1966~ formerly of Ashby~ then Wrawby) paid frequent visits inside the church and graveyard. This has always been a big questionmark for me~ so now I'm trying to establish a probable connection either with the aforementioned reverend and/or another past event(s). **Additionally I am searching for any relative of my uncle George Moore~ (mother Amy~ father Joe - brother of abovementioned Fred ). Amy & Joe used to live in Burringham road opposite the park during the 1950's and early 60s. Please~ is there anyone out there?

Hi~**My family (Brumby) left Scotton for Australia in the late 1800's and early 1900's. They originally came from around Messingham where they were farmers and blacksmiths.****I went back to visit last year and absolutely loved both villages. IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFORMATION DATING BACK TO EARLY 1900S FOR BURRINGHAM I WOULD BE INTERESTED. MY GRANDFATHER WAS BORN IN THE VILLAGE 02.1901 AND ATTENDED THE VILLAGE SCHOOL. HIS MOTHER WAS JANE BONNET. I DO NOT HAVE ANY EARLY PHOTOGRAPHS OF MY GRANDAD ONLY OF HIS MOTHER. ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

I AM SEARCHING FOR DETAILS OF MY GRANDFATHER ERNEST CHARLESWORTH WHO WAS BORN IN BURRINGHAM 06.02.2001.HIS MOTHER WAS JANE BONNET(FORMERLY WALKER) HIS ELDEST BROTHER PERCY DIED 06.11.63~ AND YOUNGER SISTER CELINA BORN 05.02.1903.I BELIEVE THERE WAS ANOTHER BROTHER WHO HAD POLIO AS A CHILD.A DAUGHTER NAMES LIZA APPEARS ON THE CENSUS ALL LIVING IN BURRINGHAM WITH A JAMES CHARLESWORTH THEY MOVED TO GOOLE TO VARIOUS ADDRESSES.MY GRANDFATHER WORKED THE FARMS.THEY LATER TOOK THE NAME CHARLESWORTH AND SELINA MARRIED AT WHITGIFT CHURCH~ GOOLE 05.12.1921.
