I am looking for information for my 3rd great grandparents. Robert Smith Born 1775 in Shifnall~ Shropshire~ England wife's name is Mary Higginson Born 9 Jan 1780 and died 12 Dec 1838 in Shifnall~ Shropshire~ England. They had one son Charles Wood Higginson (Smith) Born 29 March 1807 and died 18 April 1886 in New Jersey. Mary's parents were William Higginson born abt 1754 and Elizabeth born about 1758 both in Shifnal~ Shropshire.****I am guessing that Robert and Mary were to poor to married in the Church and had a common law marriage. Charles for some reason took his mother's maiden name as his last name.****I am looking for any information~ records~ history~ relatives that anyone might have. I am researching my Darley ancestors who lived in Bonningale Shropshire. Farms called Woodhouses and Dairy Farm were**places where they lived. Also Bridgnorth one of the Darley family owned the Tea Rooms on the bridge and a pleasure boat business. Anyone related or researching this name? Please get in touch.

My ancestors were called BROOME from Weston under Lizard.**Thomas Broome was born 1791 in Weston but his father Richard 1767 and grandfather William 1730 were both born in Blymhill.**I have a family of Samuel Broom c1751and wife Mary~ their son William baptised 13/2/1780 in Peplowand married to Catherine Lockley 22/6/1800 in Gnossall.William & Catherine had a son Thomas born 16/4/1808 in Blymhill and married Sarah Gerrard 21/2/1831 in Church Eaton. This pair had 8 children who all ended up in the Shifnal Workhouse in 1851with no trace of the parents.**I have been trying to find out if this family is related to my Thomas Broome of 1808.

I have been doing my family tree for a while~ and Francis and Elizabeth Cheadle (my great~ great~ great grandparents) had children in Enville~ Staffs~ then Weston-Under-Lizard too. In the 1861 census~ their son Alfred Francis Cheadle was 8 years old. Alfred is my great~ great grandfather.

Hiya~ i've been doing my family tree for a while~ and i find out in the 1891 census~ that my great great great grandfather Francis Cheadle~ was a farmer of 7 acres in Blymhill~ Staffs. He is listed as living at 24 Blymhill Common. I've just had a quick look on google maps~ but couldn't find it~ but was able to just find a location of blymhill~ but not the common!!!.****Best wishes.

My grear great grandmother was born in Ryton in 1824. She lived at Upper Forge in Madeley. She married my great great grandfather who was from Cardiston Shropshire. They had my great grandfather in 1858 while living in Coalbrookdale Shropshire. If anyone has any information about any of my ancestors please pass on the information it would be most aprreciated
