Elizabeth Scott
Crumlin, Antrim (2.1 miles away)
My Mother's very tragic death on 15th February 2003~ her Maiden name was then Lilley~ later became Scott. People who would of regularly drank in the Packenem Arms~ High St~ Crumlin from the mid 60's to the early 70's would of known her Father~ my Grandfather~ Publican James Lilley~ when he passed on my Father took the license known as Alastair Hugh Scott. I'm hoping a woman named Shirley~ is out there and reads this story or you know who she could be?. She was very petite in height & weight~ wore her black hair in a typical type of beehive & tremendous Mini Skirts~ also a tall slim~ long haired blonde lady she was very much a friend to my Mother~ they worked for us~ me only remembering from age 2yrs~ most of this. My Father had abit of a reputation for being abit of a Mad Irishman~ after a few whiskies of course & loved his Sports Cars~ owned a 'Yellow E-Type' at the time we were there. Behind the Pub was a Car Park~ there was a huge Cherry Blossom Tree right in the center~ Father had kennels of Gun-Dogs and also an Alsation guard dog named Wolf. ****So if anyone remembers my Family~ please get intouch as I know my Mother missed many of her friends from Crumlin and also people who lived in Dunadry~ we lived in Clady Cottage then also. The local Primary School~ my Headmaster was Mr Bunting~ could never forget that !!****
