i have been doing some family research, and some of my ancestors lived in the West Hatch, North Curry, North Petherton & Stoke St Mary areas, i was just wondering, if anyone has any family connections in these areas that may be able to share any information

they were the Gardiner/ Gardner & Truby(dependant on the spelling in census's)

my decendants were James Gardiner born 1820's who married Margaret Truby around 1846 in Stoke St Mary, they later moved to Swansea/Neath in South Wales and i believe her parents and family also moved with them, as they appear on the 1951 census inthe same area,

i believe his parents where Richard and Elizabeth Gardiner,, and Richards father to be Valentine Gardiner

if anyone can help please get in touch

I am researching my family history and would appreciate any information that would help me~ or possibly contact from living relatives?****My grandad was George Broom b1913~ son of Clifford Broom b1879 who was married to Nellie~ also b1979. Their other children were Hilda M~ Clifford R~ Charles~ Herbert and Ethel all born 1898-1913.****George married Helen (Stevens) in 1941 and had one son~ John Broom b1943. Herbert married Florence and had 2 sons~ Douglas & Michael b1942. Michael is still alive~ living in Minehaed. I think Charles & maybe Ethel moved to New Zealand. Unsure of any other details.****Clifford (b1979)'s dad- my great great grandad- was James Broom b.1853~ married to Mirrgham also b1853. Their other children were Lizzie b1875 and William b1877.****Any help or contact would be appreciated.

My 3 great grandfather is shown on the 1851 cencus as being in an Inn in Pawlett owned by Robert Hancock can anybody shed any light on the name of the Inn as it is only shown as schedule 76 in the cencus.****Many thanks Alan Neale

I lived in Puriton Somerset from 1946 until 1950 then moved to Australia with my family.I attended Dr MorgansGrammer School. My father was the village Policeman in Puriton. I am interested in communicating with anyone who lived in Puriton at the same time and can remember me.
