I am researching family history on the Surname Gower. The Gowers lived in Mersham and Smeeth.The descendants come from Richard Gower born 1757 in Kent~ died 1830 in Mersham~ who married Elizabeth Crompe born 1767 in Mersham. Does anyone know who his father and mother was ~ or her father and mother was? or any information on their desendants.

The lived in in several houses (one of them was called ?The Ramblers?)~ as the father of the family was builder and used to build houses and then sell them. They?re called Ralph and Carol Thompson and had three kids named Leah~ Luke and Laken. At the time I met them~ they had two dogs called Max and Ellis. Ralph is builder and Carol was housewife~ although she did work later when the kids had grown up. Ralph had a sister~ Lisa I think~ who run a pub with her husband. I lost contact with them and would like to get in touch with them again~ as they treated me so well and I had such a great time by them. They really made me feel as I was part of the family.
