I was wondering if anyone else was researching the Pooten and Poston families from Little Hereford and Middleton on the Hill.
Joseph Pooten married Winifred Poston in 1733 at Kimbolton. Joseph was from Little Hereford and Winifred from Middleton.
Joseph was the son of James Pooten and Margaret Jones. Both died at Little Hereford. Winifred was baptised April 1712 father Gulielmi (William) and mother Winifred.

I am researching my GGGrandparents family - surname CORLES. My GGGrandfather Frederick Edward Corles(Born 1836/37 in Ross~ Herefordshire) and his brothers went to a Boarding school for young gentlemen in Docklow in 1841~ run by Mr and Mrs Holyoak. Any info on the boarding school and/or the Corles family would be appreciated. His father is listed as a Gentleman-John Corles but I can find no info on him. Mother Marianne (Mary Anne). I would like to hear from any one that knew me as i was raied at THe Firs Pudleton fostered out to a Mrs Broadway . Attended Leominster Secondary Modern School.##Allso any one that knew Malcome Evans who died young and is buried in St Peters church Pudleston.I believe the grave is tended and flowers placed i would love to hear from the person doing this.##Thank you Bill Jones.
