I am looking for information regarding my grandfather (John J Holland - went by Jack) and his family. They lived on High Lane in the Cheshire area (District of Macclesfield). My grandfather's mother's name was Florence Cotton. It is my understanding that the family immigrated to Canada shortly after WWI (and then later to the Buffalo area of New York). I lived in Bollington some 18 years ago as an au pair girl with a family called Gilpin~ Pat and Barry Gilpin~ who used to run a pub~ The Queens Arms.
