I have recently found I have ancestors on my mothers side of the family from Bucklebury~ Englefield~ Cold Ash and Ashmore Green going back to the 1780's. The relevant surnames are Holmes~ Dixon~ Lawrence~ Clarke. I see there is a Lawrences Lane on the map of Cold Ash does anyone know if this bears any relation to my ancestors surname?**I lived in Thatcham for seven years and never knew about my ancestors!

Hi My Name is Rita Gunnn (nee Bailey) my parents were Harry &## Dorothy and I **use to live in Beenham abt 1957....I attended Beenham Primary School and use to **do Ballet. I use to live in a (Bus Caravan) in a site near the bluebell woods **where they use to have the Motor-bike racing.....my relations were called **Bailey (Nancy &## Percy)and they had quite a number of children.
