Hi I am looking for information on Benjamin Andrew & Emily Marchant who on the 1901 Census lived at 66 Angel Lane Bromeswell Suffolk. My husband's grandmother was born in Bromeswell c. 1884 her name was Maude Emily Marchant. I cannot trace Angel Lane Bromeswell and wondered if this is now part of Woodbridge.

I am attempting to do my wifes family tree and find that her father was born in Sudbourne.**Her mothers name was Gertrude Goldsmith who's father was Sydney Goldsmith~ his father was William who lived with his wife Elizabeth at 22 Holly Cottage Sudbourne in 1871.**Would anyone know of any living relations?

War time national id card shows that my mother lived for a short while at **Tangham Chimneys~ Capel St Andrew.**To date I have been unable to locate the house. Does anyone have useful **information about where it is or was ? Any help appreciated.**Richard

My great grandfather John Sharman was born in Orford in 1840 and his death was **registered in Plomesgate in 1921. He was a mail cart driver to Wickham Market **Station for some 30 years or so. Would anyone please be able to check in your **local cemeteries for him. **His wife's name was Elizabeth Barham. They married in Orford 8.9.1868. **The Sharman family has been in Orford since at least 1840. Are there any **Sharman's still there? Please~ desperately searching for Sharman family from Orford. Robert Alfred **(Bob) Sharman (born 1899 Plomesgate) married Beatrice E Garrod in 1922 in **Plomesgate. They had Robert George (Bobbie) born Plomesgate 1924~ and Gerard **John (Jack) born Plomesgate 1926. Younger cousin in Australia seeking to make **contact. My father John was Robert's older brother.**Also other siblings: Kathleen born Plomesgate 1893~ married to Percy Goldsmith **and had a son Ralph born 1923.**John William born 1894 went to Australia (married with 6 children)**Dorothy May born 1897**Ralph Alexander G born 1898**Sydney Edward Sharman born 1901**All born in Plomesgate~ Orford~ with Sharman family being in the area since at **least 1840.**Can someone please very generously lend me a hand.**Sincere thanks. Hi This is a great website you have. I am very interested because my great grand parents grew up in Sutton at Rose Cottage~ Chapel Road~ Sutton. My great grandmother's name was Florence Mahala Clarke - he mother Bertha and her father Jared. She had 3 brothers Arthur~ William and Jared~ and one sister Mary-Anne. In 1900 she gave birth to my grandfather Selwyn - I am trying very hard to find out who my grandfathers father was - I am after no gain just to know my family history. If anyone out there has any information they can supply to help me with my search I would be very grateful. As I said earlier I just want to know because of my family tree. To add to the above Florence Mahala Clarke married Charles Cook in 1902 and then married again in 1930 to Charles London. her third marriage was around 10 years later to William Drage. On her second marriage she was marked as a spinster! My Grandfather was known as Drage after her 3rd marriage. Any help anyone can give would be gratefully appreciated. thank you
