Looking for descendants of John Powell and John Lewis. John Powell 1821 living in Titley. John Lewis was his nephew. Some years ago I bought a copy of Hoppus's Measurer## a ready reckoner for builders etc. I then found inscriptions by both of them inside the cover. It has been on my conscience ever since to return to rightful descendants without charge but have been unable to trace them via normal web sources. I am interested in a listed house - the only information I have is a photo - the plot of land is called The Coggin [maybe a different spelling] and it is No.3. It is a white timbered house with a stacked chimney made in four sections. It was originally occupied by the Berry Family and dates from the 17th Century.

I am researching my family history and have traced back as far as my Great Grandfather~ James Daniel born 1849 (he later became James Daniels)~ who~ according to the 1851 census was living with grandparent/s at the time in Marston and his Mother Ellen~ and sister Elizabeth . Does anyone know any details of a Margaret Daniel (poss my Great Great Great Grandmother~ Born in 1781 who was lodging with the head of the household~ an Elizabeth Cole who was born around 1791?**I am keen to etablish any details and the property they may have lived in.**Thank you.

My great great grandfather~ William Jones was born in Presteigne in or around 1811. When He married Elizabeth Weal in 1852~ the certificate named his father as Edward Jones~ a butcher~ thereafter the trail has gone cold. my grandfathers family~ george and his brother william~ lived in Stansbach. George moved to London sometime between World war i & 2 - Will remained at the family home. We think he had a sister or cousin known only as Miss Powell and she was a teacher (?) with a motorcar - does anyone know any more about these lost relatives?
