My family lived at Twll Farm~ Lloc from the 1600's until 1966. I visited several times as a girl & my Aunt Gertrude looked after her Aunt Frances & Uncle Harry until they died in 1966. She is now 91 & still independent! We would love to hear from anyone who remembers the family

searching for constance humphreys born about 1918/25 daughter of thomas humphreys and mabel nee evans. mabel lived and possibley taught at school house brynford and married at st.michaels church on11/8/1915. her father was david evans~ once headmaster at llangollen.**it is known that thomas & mabel had a daughter constance but i've searched many a year for birth or marriage but with no luck.anyone out there possibley help.

• thank you Colin for sending the info,but sorry to say it's not the right one..that particular birth the mothers maiden name was Morris i'm looking for the maiden name of Evans. I seem to have hit a brick wall in my search for this person,i'm beginning to think she must have been adopted therefore would have been registered in a different name.

My great grandfather Richard Jones left Mostyn with many others to work at the colliery in Carlton~ Yorkshire. He helped to establish a Welsh Chapel there and for a while services were held in his front room until they built the 'tin chapel'. He married Elizabeth Griffiths who was also from Mostyn. I remember coming to the village as a child in the 1950s to visit family. They were the family of John and Mary Elizabeth Booley. We had tea at the home of Mona Williams (husband Bob) and her family. She had a daughter called Cenwen and a sister called Jennifer. I would love to get in touch with anyone connected with them or who knows of them to further my family history research

My Grandad used to live in the old police house.**She used to work in the paper mill and then later Courtalds.
