I have a Thomas Rowling whose parents are William Rowling & Margaret Jane Hocking who had a son named Honor Semmons in the Cornwall area (Of Crowan) back in the 1830's and William married Margaret Jane in Jan 1851.. I have another ancestor that goes from Thomas back to a John Rollan (from Lambeth~London) who married Ann Marie Bennett (fr: Lambeth~ London)... looking to see why the name change

Hi~ I am doing genealogy on the family of William Wallis (married to Maria Willoughby May 29~ 1819) who had 3 sons: William Willoughby Wallis~ James Willoughby Wallis & Jonathan Wallis. William also had 3 brothers & a sister: John Wallis~ Thomas~ George & Elizabeth. I have found the kin of John but not anything of the others. John & William both immigrated to USA/ Wisconsin in 1835 & after 1841. I have one note that Elizabeth married a man named Mr. Pope. Also I have NO info on the father/mother of these men. I have a note that the Father of these men was named John~ but I don't know if that is true. I have seen the 1841 census## William & Maria+ 3 boys were in Tolvaddon at that time. Hi~ I am researching the Rowe family of Constantine. I have a William Rowe m. Alice Roberts 2/1/1774~ who had several children including Thomas Rowe m. Mary Pearce 14/11/1815 (parents John Pearce & Margery Retallack) who had James Rowe b. 1816 m. Elizabeth Matthews and they went to live in Llandewednack~ Cornwall. They had 9 children in Llandewednack~ and nearly all of them eventually migrated to Kempsey on the Macleay River in NSW Australia. I am trying to trace my maternal grandmother who came from the Redruth area. Her name was Clara and had a sister~Minnie. There were other siblings. One sister married some one with the surname Mugford.**My grandmother's 1st marriage was to Matthew Joice with whom she had a son also named Matthew. After the death of 1st husband she married my grandfather James Britten with whom she had 3 children~ Harry~ Minnie and my father George who was born in 1910. Hallo~ my name is Gary Richards. I briefly went to the Sithney school in **1972. (For 6 months) I was 10 and in grade 5. My teacher was Mr. RICHARDS **(no relation) I was born in Australia but my father was born in Crowntown and **returned in 1972 for a holiday. I went to school with my two sisters~ Kerryn **and Karina. I lived near the DALE's and played soccer with Quentin and Mark **and their sister Jo. I also remember another girl named Clair and another **school friend named David. I had a very enjoyable stay at the school and have **some good memories of it. I still live in Australia in Queensland on the **Sunshine Coast. I found this site by chance and it brought back some **memories.

In the course of investigating my family history~ I discovered the marriage of **Francis Blewett to Elizabeth Colan around 1540. One manor conveyed to Francis **by Elizabeth was that of "Trevarth in Gwennap parish". ****While I have not seen them~ due to time constraints~ I have found that estate **maps survive of Trevarth manor~ and can be seen in the Bluett papers in Exeter **record office.****As a Blewett~ the coincidence should not be striking## I was raised in Trevarth~ **but since Francis Blewett had 13 sons and 9 daughters~ and since then the **Blewetts have multiplied in every parish in Cornwall so Blewetts had to return **to Trevarth~ albeit in the more humble miner's cottages.
