My brother-in-law, Edward Henry BURNETT, has asked me to see what I can find out about his family history. I've had a rummage through several available online records and I'm pretty sure that his family was living in Abbotts Ann in the 18th and 19th centuries. Any info on BURNETTs from that area would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I am interested in the names Snooks & Chandler~ particularly John Snooks who married Ann Glass at Kimpton in 1797~ I have been searching for his baptism for nearly 20 years without success. In the 1841 cencus he said he was born in Hants~ in 1851 Shrewton Wilts~ I have searched Shrewton & surrounding areas without success. I think he belongs to William & Elizabeth of Abbotts Ann and perhaps the vicar forgot to enter his baptism~ this happened to one of my children. if anyone out there has any information about John I would be absolutely elated.

Would love to hear from anyone tracing their family tree who has knowledge of a **Henry Parfitt married to an Elizabeth Bennett at Amport 3/11/1789. Two known **children being Charlotte (b 1797)and Thomas (b 1802). Parfitt both being **christened at Binsted. Other one traced is a Louisa Parfitt who married Everard **Wild in Monxton on 12/8/1854.
