Looking for info on Stubbins family that lived in Bleadney~ Henton~ Wookey and/or Wells during early to mid 19th century. George Edward Stubbins worked at Bleadney Inn in 1840's/1850's~ emigrated to America in 1852. Wife Sarah Ann Rood~ daughter of John & Ann Rood. The Roods may have owned the Bleadney Inn. George was son of Edmund and Sarah Stubbins. George had seven sisters~ 5 of whom stayed in England. Oldest Stubbins' known were George & Elizabeth Stubbins who were born in 18th century. Elizabeth died July 22~ 1853 in Henton.

Hello**Im hoping someone will be able to help. Im looking for a family who breed boxer dogs around 11 years ago~ unfortunatley I can't remeber their family name apart from one of the little girls was called Ruby~ they also had two other daughters.**Im trying to find them as I bought a boxer from them 11 years ago (Milky way/Alice) who now has cancer. I have found a relative called Christopher Wall born 1781 and lived in Clewer in 1841 with his son John P Wall born 1811 in Clewer. Other members of family also living in clewer are Peter~ sarah~ george and thomas. Does anyone have any further information. Would be very greatful.

I understand by Great~ Great~ Great Grandfather Thomas Young came from Blagdon **Somerset~ he married Mary Stokes of Dundry and had 2 children (I believe) **William and James. I am descended from William through his son Benjamin (1810) **and his son George (1857 Hale Farm) and my Father Percy George Young(1901) who **went from Redhill Somerset to Burnley Lancashire in 1920.
