McGraw they had for daughters and 2 sons of whom I have most info.They lived at No.10 Dinnett St.,Shettleston.Info on Patrick Smith & Annie Smith their family Thomas Sylvestor, Bridget, Catherine & Ann or Annie.Ann or Annie Born in Ireland About 1852?.,married my GGrandfather Francis MCMahon or Mahon in Shettleston 1872.Any help here would be appreciated.

Aunt nan never married~ Aunt Beannie did she lived in a cottage in Longrigend neat a pub in the 1970's. I lived at Distillery Cottages~ Garnkirk until about 1954/55 when we had to move to Moodiesburn. **Attended Chryston Primary School~ then Gartcosh Primary~ then finally to Coatbridge High. I remember the long walk from Distillery Cottages to Muirhead to Mrs. Bentleys local store and oftentimes going to Woodhead Farm for that extra pint of milk! **Would be happy to talk to anyone who lived in the area.**Joanne

• Hi Robyn I was born in Garnkirk and the cottages were all pulled down in the mid 1950s. There are still house's there they were known to me as the excise houses, think there were 6 of them they are now all sited on private land.Sorry I haven't heard of your Italian sculptor even though my mother and my grand mother were born and raised in Garnkirk

Looking for family... My mother~ Jessie T. McFarlane~ was born in Coatbridge in the early 1900's. Her parents were John and Mary (Irvine) McFarlane. There were about 15 children. Three boys~ Robert~ John~ and Thomas. The last two went to Canada. Mom came to the US at age 15 and never returned home. Any information or photos would be a blessing! I know it is a long shot~ but I am trying to find any information or any **descendants of Harry Black. Harry lived in the Stepps area~ **probably in the 1940s~ when he would have been in his 20s or 30s. I believe he **was a soldier in a Scottish Regiment~ although I do not know which regiment. Her Legal guardians were archie and Jean **Kinaburgh Muirhead House although i believe she was jean's legal ward before. **Jean was aschool teacher and archie i believe was a gardener~ who although **younger than jean died first.
