I am looking for my fathers grave~ he was killed riding a motorcycle around the years 1933/34 at that time he was a farm foreman working on Paper Mill Farm in or around the area.

hi names colin**my gandfather and his wife lived in the village about 1913~ he was killed in the first world war in 1915~ his name was Harry Morley and his wife was Annie. she carried on living here till at least 1920. they lived near the school~ i think the house backed onto it.**any more info on harry ect would be most welcome.**colin

Just thought I would post a note as an old Caythorpian.Born Rose Cottage 1951~ later moved to Waggon and Horse PH~ father Fred Clarke was landlord.Later lived down Back Lane~ No's 2 &## 4~ no longer exist!!Left in 1968~ joined Navy for 26 years~ mostly in Submarine.Lived in Arnhem Drive for a few years during my navy time.Now retired to centre of France~ but occasionally visit~ usually nip in to see my old friend~ John Scott~ Frieston~ and have been known to have a beer in the Waggon when passing Regard Richard

Attended this school way back in about 1949. I was between the age of 5 and 7 at the time. I am now 59. I was living in Millfield House which was a childrens home back then.****After contacting Sleaford Town Council with what little I could remember I received information back which enabled me to pay a vist to the area on Sunday 04/04/04.****The school is just as I remember it although there are additional buildings now. I remember the windmill which was a private dwelling at the time and appears to be the same now and do remember being invited in by a school friend who must have lived there.****I can remember the horses and hounds gathering at the church before going off on the hunt.****It would be nice to hear from anyone who was there around that time although I'm sure both yourself and I wont remember each other.
