I am researching my late mother-in-law's family. She was Nellie Jay. I have gone back to 1816 with her great-grandfather Richard Jay. He was married to Ann(nee Webb) and worked at the Chalk Pits~being Manager by the 1841 Census.They had quite a few children~ two of whom we have traced. Are there descendents of any of the others - Elizabeth~ Wiliam~ Hannah~ Sarah etc?

Hi~I'm looking for information regards my grandfather John Mates Born 1881 Rochester~ Kent~died 1926 Sydney Australia. His fathers name was John Mates b.1846 Northfleet~Kent.His mother was Sarah Roberts b.1853 Rochester. Siblings Ellen b~1876.William b~1878.Emily b~1880.possibly more siblings ? In his marraige certificate he lists his father as Henry Dunning (a carpenter) and his mother as Hannah Roberts. They may have lived in Strood or Rochester. Any help would be great. Thanks!

I am looking for any information on the "Friday" family who are my relations. The 1881 Census for High Street~ Northfleet mentions John Simon Friday a Master Butcher in Northfleet~ married to Charlotte Gay~ with many children. One of their children born in 1885 was my Great Grandmother~ Maud Victoria Friday. Maud married my Great Grandfather John Samuel Cooper. They had two sons in **England prior to emigrating to Canada in 1912. John Hendon Samuel Cooper was born Acre Road~ Mitcham~ Croydon in 1907~ and Stanley George Cooper was born **High Street~ Tooting in 1910.**I would love to hear from anyone related to the Friday or Cooper family. I live in Canada and have an extensive family tree for these two families in Canada after their emigration which I would love to share.
