Hi. I reside in Victoria~ British Columbia. I am looking for links to my family who left Cheltenham about 1851. I know they had a residence on Sandford Street. The actual address was "Gothic Cottage~ Sandford Street" I have been told that a photo exists of this location dating back to their era. If anyone has knowledge of this photo~ I would like to have a copy of it. **The names of my Ancestors are George Blackwell and wife~ Mary Barradell. Their children are Elizabeth~ Sophia~ John~ George~ Henry and adopted son~ William. **Mary Barradell is buried in Shurdington Cemetery. She died Nov. 12~ 1864 A year later~ the daughter Elizabeth Blackwell also died. Again~ if someone has a digital camera and could locate the tombstone~ I would be very grateful. **Unfortunatly~ the situation does not allow me to visit my homeland~ but someday I will. **Details can be seen a www.blackwellgenealogy.com

Looking for people in connection with the Barnes family who lived in Cheltenham~ Gloucestershire from the late 1920s/early 1930s. Head of family Isaac Robinson Barnes~ tailor~ b. abt 1890 and his wife Victoria Barnes (nee Davey). They moved to Cheltenham from Ross-on-Wye~ Herefordshire after 1928 and were married in Portsmouth~ Hampshire in 1923. It's very likely John was originally from Ireland~ possibly Cookstown in County Tyrone. His mother was Margaret. Had sons John Barnes~ Richard Barnes and Geoffrey Barnes. Any help would be appreciated.

Looking for information about my great great grandfther (John Hooper) who I believe was born in Shipton/Turkdean about 1812/1820 and his son Emmanuel Hooper born 1844/45 in Shipton/Turkdean. John believed to be a tailor and his on a shepherd/labourer. I understand from later censuses that they both moved around a lot especially towards oxfordshire! any help would be appreciated. Thanks
