I am researching into the family history of my greatgrandmother Ann Bowles daughter of George and Martha Bowles of Coln St. Aldwyn. She and her sister Mary married 2 brothers from Dean Bedfordshire. According to 1841 census there were 4 other siblings - Jane~ Harriet~ Elisa and Susan. Did they have any issue?

Hi This is a long shot. We are researching our family tree and know a lady called Mary came to North Wales or Chester in service. She was born in Aldsworth in 1863 and married in Chester or Flintshire a man called Thomas Jones~ who was a tin plater~ in Mold. They had three boys - Harry B1894 approx ~ Arthur B 1895 approx and Harold born 1897. Please can anyon help. My sister-in-law is visiting Aldsworth area in March to see what she can find. Appreciate any help at all. Thank you.

I was able to trace the ancestral lineage of my English-born great grandmother up to Robert GOULDING (1513-1582) in Meysey Hampton~ Gloucester~ England. I also live in Canada. Rumors say that a Robert GOULDING signed the arrest warrant of Mary~ Queen of Scots? Is he the one?**From Nicole Descottes

I have spent time looking around my old childhood places in the UK I was brought up by Herbert and Ada Day...Herbert was the local Cotswold Stone Builder and did many of the large old houses and the farm cottages up...I used to love going in and seeing the things he found when removing the walls etc...I wonder if there are any of my friends from the village of Calcot out there or people that remember Herbert and the Coln Valley Cricket Club...Love to hear from you~ Dorothy South Australia
