I am looking for family by the name of Denby. I know that the family lived in Tower House Hull in the late 40's early 50's. I am particularly looking for my mothers cousin Barrie Denby. Also does anyone know if the house is still standing? Any infomation would be greatly appreciated

My great-great-grandfather (James Graves) arrived in South Australia on the ship 'Marion' on 10.02.1849 via assisted passage from London 27.10.1848 and Plymouth Nov 1848.**Information is that he was born 1825/26 in Kingston upon Hull~ Yorkshire.**I also have a possible christening of 11.12.1825 at Elloughton~ Yorkshire~ with parents William Graves b.17.08.1796 Elloughton and bapt 21.08.1796 Elloughton with Brough who married Ann (? Hutching) 11.04.1821 at Holy Trinity~ Kingston upon Hull.**I would appreciate any help or ideas to confirm the above information or to trace the ancestry of my James Gaves.**In return~ I have a long list of James Graves' descendents in South Australia.**Regards~**Trevor Brown~ South Australia**

Richard Ian Malcolm Fraser.Born 1894 He married Annie Emmeline Hiscox on September 23rd 1933 at Darlington Register Office. His address in Darlington was 118 Victoria Road. Before 1934 they moved to 86 Strathmore Avenue Hull They had a daughter born in Hull on May 11th 1934. This information appeared on the marriage certificate and they birth certificate. Richards father was also richard ian malcolm fraser listed as deceased on marriage certificate . Has any one out there any information .

Iam looking for information on the Holliday family from Anlaby~ Swanland and Hull.**Frank was a building contractor in the 1950s in Anlaby.**There was also a Dorothy Holliday**and a Vera Joan Holliday who married H Keith Leonard and lived in Sutton on Hull.**They are related to the Noble family originally from Hull.****I would be grateful for ANY information.**Many thanks

hello~ can anyone help me with parish records~ i am looking for theakston and hordsman or hodsman family. my 3x ggrandfather henry theakston was born in woodmansey abt.1824 and married a mary ann hordsman or hodsman from swanland in 1847~ a sculcoates reg. my 2xggrandmother sarah theakston was born in thearne in 1849~ she married a man called ward from lincolnshire and had 4 children born in owstwick and a further ten born in lincolnshire. if anyone can help me to find who were henry~s parents i would be very grateful. kind regards john baxter

hello~ my 3xggrandfather was born in woodmansey in 1824~ his name was henry theakston and he married in 1847 a mary ann hordsman or hodsman of swanland~ his daughter sarah theakston was my 2xggrandmother and she was born in thearne in 1849~ i am trying to find out who were henry~s parents . i wonder if there are any parish records and if there is anyone who can help me. kind regards~ john baxter p.s. sarah married a man called ward and had 4 children in owstwick~ they then moved to lincolnshire ( burwell) and had a further 10 children.

Hi~ I am looking for information about my ancestors - Crowther (Crowder)~ Lacy and Levitt's around the area in the 18th and 19th centuries. I would also like to find out some information about Brafford's Hall as my ggg grandfather John Lacy was said to have been the head gardener there and I believe one of his daughters was born there. • Hello Joanne, Your ggg grandfather was the Head gardener at Brafford's hall and I believe he was married to Mary ann Crowther. He was there in early 1800. Followed my line and got to John Lacy.

I am researching my family history in Hull.My grandfather~ Arthur Brown~ an accountant~ was married to Ethel Johnson.**Eldest son Roy went to Australia~ daughter Marie married Norman Atkinson and they went to Canada.
