I was recently passing through Kirkby La Thorpe and photographed my Great Grandfather's Gravestone. Later another relative gave me a copy of a picture they had taken a year before which showed the stone in a worse state. I am hoping that it was cleaned by a relative. So if you cleaned the headstone of Thomas and Susan Fisher could you please contact me.

My brother Sgt Pilot Stanley Andrew was posted to RAF Digby with 46 Squadron [ Hurricanes ] on the outbreak of the last war.**He went with them to Norway in May 1940 and after the loss of 10 from the Squadron on HMS Glorious~ he was able to go back to Digby in June****On September 1st they were sent down to Essex in the Battle of Britain and he was killed when returning from a sortie on Sept 12th****I have visited the excellent RAF Museum~ Scopwick Cemetery and I wonder if anyone visiting would contact me as I have photos of 46 Sqd and the Operational Reports

Attended this school way back in about 1949. I was between the age of 5 and 7 at the time. I am now 59. I was living in Millfield House which was a childrens home back then.****After contacting Sleaford Town Council with what little I could remember I received information back which enabled me to pay a vist to the area on Sunday 04/04/04.****The school is just as I remember it although there are additional buildings now. I remember the windmill which was a private dwelling at the time and appears to be the same now and do remember being invited in by a school friend who must have lived there.****I can remember the horses and hounds gathering at the church before going off on the hunt.****It would be nice to hear from anyone who was there around that time although I'm sure both yourself and I wont remember each other.
