My great grandfather was George Crone~ a master mariner of Maryport who maried a Margaret Gurney. Margaret was born in 1835 There is a possibility that my great grandfathers mother was a Mary Crone who was the "Inkeeper" of the ROYAL OAK in Gilcrux in1829. My mother was a Mary Crone before her marriage..Can anyone give me ay imformation regarding inkeeper Mary.

In the 1891**Census it reports Robert BEATTIE as being from Causeway Pike and that**he was a grocer.****Elizabeth WALKER was from Greysouthen Parish in Brigham.****I have the names of two of James Walker BEATTIE's brothers.
