Hello~ I'm tracing my Douglas ancestors## I'm back as far as far as 1779. John Douglas son ofJohn Douglas and Ann Crighton. John married Mary Turner in 1800## they had 12/13 children~ oneof whom~ James Struthers Douglas was my great grandfather## he married Annie/Anna Marie Crateand they had a similar number of children## James Robert b. 1874 in Birsay being my grandfather.##I have a picture of the Dairsie grave showing John Douglas d.1856~ Mary Turner d.1850~ 5 of their children plus Ann Crighton~ his mother d. 1832.##Any connections or added detail would be greatly appreciated.##John Paul Douglas (b. 1946 now living in Eastbourne.)

I am tracing my family in Scotland and found an ancestor who died in Kilmany manse in Kilmany~ Fife. Her name was Janet Cook (maiden name Hill)~ died in Kilmany in 1826. She was married to Dr. John Cook (1739-1815). They had 2 of children that I know of~ Harriot and Henry David.**Any info most appreciated.**Cheers**Michael**Melbourne~ Australia.

Hello I am looking for birth information about John Duncan who married elizabeth Burns in 1830 of st. andrews. he was born in dairsie abt 1811 and died in dundee in 1850. Hit a dead end on info on his birth and lineage.Grats. from a canadian connection.
