I am researching my family tree. My gt.grandfather was living in Langdon and working on 48~ Holy Farm in the late1880s I am looking for John Powell his wifes mane was Elizabeth any information would be great. I have found him on the 1891 census at the above address. He was a Farm Labourer~ but having a hard time finding out more.**Thanks Pam J.

I'm looking for information to do with my grandfather and great father~ who were called Gilbert Baylis Tarling and William Baylis Tarling respectively. William was listed as a farmer in the 1911 census and had five children. The name of the farm is v difficult to read - either Sump or Jump Farm. I'm looking for someone who could possibly view and transcribe the headstone **details for me.****The couple I'm looking for are:****Charles William Anderson ****and his wife****Amelia Phoebe Ann [maiden name: Simmonds]****I believe that Charles William is buried with Amelia ... but that his name **isn't on the stone. ****I also believe that Amelia was buried with her parents~ so that the headstone **surname would be Simmonds~ rather than Anderson.****I am particularly looking for the death date of Amelia ... along with the names **of her parents as on the stone.****My email address is listed and I would really appreciate it if someone could **take a peek at the churchyard for me.****Regards****Mary E. I was delighted to see amongst the old photo's for Longdon~ pictures of the Moat House~ Longdon~ my gt grandfather used to live there.****My gt gt grandfather was John Witts born 1820 at Longdon Worcester~ he married Ann ( have not got a surname) (she came from Ripple Worcester~) at Church End Longdon~ my gt grandfather John Witts was also born at Longdon~ c1849 he married Charlotte Elizabeth Jackson (from Forthampton~ Gloucester)Their children were born at Castle Moreton~ and Welland~ I would really appreciate any information anyone may have on the Witts family.**Gay
