Hello **I am tracing my family tree and a family connection is with the Daffern family. **Richard born in 1705 in Arley married a lady named Sarah Spencer also from Arley. **They had a son named Eustace born in 1729 who married Mary ???? . **Their son named Eustace was born in 1768 in Mancetter~ he married Sarah Alcock who was born in Macetter in 1766 and they had a daughter named Susannah who married a Joseph Harper. **Does any one know any of the names mentioned and can help me add names and dates to my information

My grandfather George Stevens was born in Stockingford and his mother Alice Stevens in Hartshill (although I can find no record of her birth). She was the daughter of Henry and Hannah Stevens who lived in Grove Road Stockingford back in 1911. Hello all~**I am a descendant of the Allcott family~ and I know many of them lived in Hurley in the 1800~s. My grandfather was called Edward Allcott and was born in 1844. He seemed to have had quite a large family and I am trying to trace any of them. I do believe that they were buried in or near Hurley and if any one is able to help me with this~ I would be forever grateful!! I have tried searching for cemeteries in the area but have come up with nothing. As I live in Australia I am unable to visit personally. hi.i have writen before concerning a photo of a small block of houses that use to stand in moorwood lane.the 8 houses use to be on the junction of what is now ash lane and moorwood lane before they were demolished for a new estate that is there now.would anyone have a photo of these 8 houses ?

I am looking for my grandfathers roots. His name was Alfred Rate Allsopp~ He was born in Birimingham at around 1864. At the age of 10 he was shipped off to Canada~ as he had been living in an Orphanage. He came to Atherstone in his early 20's~ married and stayed there all his life.

Jo at the timehn Smith and sons William edden~ James Thomas ~John George**I am looking for any information on the above .John smith was my greatgrandad he died 1923 at 33 Hilltop Arley .His daughter Mary Millicent Flowers lived there and at the time i am trying to see if the sons or John lived in same area.Also ellen his wife i want to find out if she lived there or had died and John moved in with Mary .Can anyone help with information .Also does any one know if Smiths are burried in Arley.Another son Edden Smith lived in Arley at Rectory cottage in 1919.William was in 33 The Lynches polesworth in 1915 joined the Army but was medically discharged 1917/18 .**Any help would be great **Mags Bright [Nee Smith]
