Does anyone know a man who is 61 years of age on the 16th August 2011.
He was born in Netherlea Maternity Hospital Newport in 1950 and was called David Pollock. At one month old he was adopted. He is known by another name now and possibly has a family of his own. If anyone knows him or can help please get in touch as I have been looking for him for years.

I lived at the Royal Naval Airstation at Donibristle between 1947 & 1949 and attended the old Aberdour Primary School. I now live in the Philippines after living in Australia since 1970 but remember the area well. When last I visited Donibristle about 5 yrs ago the old house that I lived in all those years ago was still standing. Greetings to anybody of my vintage. My son emigrated back to Scotland from Perth~ Australia a couple of years ago and is now the Director of Piping of the National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland in Glasgow. How the years have flown by.

  My name is Edward Greig Smith and my father was Edward Brodie Smith born in HofB around 1924. My father had three brothers and two sisters and his father (my grandfather) was Benjamin Smith.
  My Dad was a miner who worked in the Mary Pit before moving to Glencraig pit.
  My grandparents lived in the prefabs in HofB and I remember Dad having a cousin Matthew Ireland. Dad's two sisters, Mary and Nancy, married two brothers Billy and Tam Kydd - I suspect we might be related?

Hello once again since my first posting Iv found a Marrige **certificate of my Grand parents George Robertson and Helen**Hunter Horn Maxwell ~my grandfathers mother Jessie Robertson**who later married a Thomas Sked they moved to Australia~ Im**looking for Jessies family~ Mother or father or her siblings~I also belive that the father of the said child (George Robertson)was a man with the surname of Penman~ could be a Robert but Im not sure.**You see that my family name comes from JESSIE~ the other thing is that my GGrandmothers maiden was Penman as well and her married name is Maxwell.**If you can help please feel free to help by contacting me at any time . from Helen Grace Robertson .

Hi Im looking for my relatives around Cowdenbeath family of **the Robertson~s my grand perants names are George and his wife was Helen Hunter Horne Maxwell they moved to Australia**when my father was 16 his name also is George an only child.**But my grandmother had many siblings also my grand father who was a caol miner they lived at 15 Union sreet Cowdebeath.
