Gilberdyke, East Riding of Yorkshire (4.9 miles away)
Please note that the hall is the War Memorial for Gilberdyke parish and was built after the First World War.
It houses the Memorial Boards for those who served and died in both World Wars: the boards contain the surnames and initials, together with regiment or unit.
The full details have been sent to the UK Inventory of War Memorials and it is hoped they will appear on their website in the near future.
The hall is open when there are groups or activities taking place or come to one of our community events such as the Strawberry Fayre (listed elsewhere on this site).
The contact email for the hall is: info@gwmhall.plus.com

Hutching) 11.04.1821 at Holy Trinity~ Kingston upon Hull.**I would appreciate any help or ideas to confirm the above information or to trace the ancestry of my James Gaves.**In return~ I have a long list of James Graves' descendents in South Australia.**Regards~**Trevor Brown~ South Australia**

Looking to trace any decendants of Ada May Robinson born around 1870 in Welton - or her father William Robinson~ born around 1838 who was an Estate Agent in Welton? Ada May married Frederick Ernest Anderson of Bradford~ Yorkshire in 1900 - believed to have later moved to London/Hertforshire. Would be really grateful for any snippets you may have - please email me~ I've loads of lovely old photos of Welton too.
