My grandfather was Joseph Turland born in bugbrooke 1895. His parents were Joseph Turland and Betsy Russell. He had brothers called Alfred 1880~ Thomas 1885~ James1888~ and George 1898. He also had sisters Betha 1882~ Ada 1891 Martha 1893 and I think Florrie 1899.****My grandfather married Winifred Draper from Heyford and at some point moved to Loughborough~ Leics. I am looking for any decedants from Joseph Penn born 1829 and was married to Juliana Brazier Born 1835. I do know that Juliana passed away in 1875. They had a son also named Joseph born 1865 and was married to Sarah Ann Smtih born 1874 in Barleston Leicestershire. I am a direct decendant of these people. My maternal grandmother's name was Emily Annie Bettle. Her father~ Crick Bettle~ was born in Kingsthorpe~ Northampton c.1813. I should be very pleased to hear if there any of the Bettle family still in the area. Crick married Ann Ager in 1836 but had no children. He then appears to have started a family with Elizabeth Stedman and one of their many children was Emily~ my grandmother. ****Chris Brown
