I was born in the School House in Lutton in 1948. My mother's name was Rosa Joyce Rendle. She had two brothers by the name of Robert and Gordon. I do not know who my father was, he might have been an American serviceman. If anyone has any information on any living relations I would love to get in touch with them. If anyone remebers my mother and the name of anybody she was dating in the winter of 1947 I would love to know that too although that is a bit of a long shot I realise. I was adopted at birth and grew up in Cheshire. I moved to the States in 1970, but would love to return to Lutton someday and meet any relations I may have in the area. As far as I took it to living people today, they had no information on the family relatives, I was looking for. I did go thru my work pages for them, and forward them this posting. I attended Old Priory when it first opened. Martin Chidgey was my first teacher and then Phillip Quick~ Mr Footer was the headmaster at this time. In 1974 I emigrated to Perth West Australia where I have lived ever since. I have very happy memories of my time at school.

I am searching for any descendants of the Fice or Thomas family. **Lavinia Thomas (nee Fice) born in Modbury in 1845~ married Garland Thomas in Kingsbridge in 1883.**Ellen Thomas born in Modbury in 1884**Frederick Garland Thomas born in 1892 in Plymouth who married Deborah Matthews (these are my Grandparents).**Any information to help me find any of my family would be very much appreciated.**My Mum was Ivy Doreen Thomas born in 1916 she had two brothers called Frederick Garland Thomas and Leonard Thomas. We lived at Borringdon hill~ on the new Whimpy Estate for 3 years from 1969-71. I~ Len taught at Plymstock Comprehensive School~ and we returned to New Zealand in 1972. We attended the Plympton Church~ formerly called Ebenezer Chapel. Would like to make contact with a Eric Pearce who went to St Luke's College Exeter with me for teacher training n 1969.
