I am looking for any information on my relatives that lived in Stubbington in the 50s and 60s. As a child my family would visit Pam and Les Wells also Robert Young. I can remember Les Wells taking part in the Stubbington Carnival ( dressed as a dame) I also have old photos of this if anyone is interested.

Can anyone remember Cyril and Hilda Quinn (nee Cox) living at Bridgemary in the 1950s. I believe one of their daughters was known as "Bubbles" and she may have married someone with the surname of "Quaife". We are trying to find out what happened to the Quinns/Quaife families. Genealogy - WOODWARD~ BILES AND FAZACKERLEY FAMILIES. I am trying to locate descendants of Muriel E COX bc 1919. Muriel married 1953 Gaylor Woodward. Possibly 2 children both girls Jennifer A S WOODWARD (b1955) and Wendy J Woodward (b1957). (Possible marriage for Jennifer A S to Barry M Biles and Wendy Jto Rex J Fazackarley). Does anyone remember or know there whereabouts of any of those mentioned or their descendants? We have a lot of information in respect of the COX family that we would be willing to share.

Interesting to return to Warsash after so many years. My Dad was in the Royal Navy during WW2 stationed at HMS Tormentor. We spent the school holidays there. Me~my Mum and young brother staying with the Peckham family. My best friend was Ann Fuger. I did attend school there for a while. Going up a very steep hill to the school named Queens Hill I think. I was only 10 at the time and my memory isn't what it was. Happy memories of playing on the beach. I remember the pink Tamarix bushes and the huge flying insects we used to call Daddy longlegs. I have lost touch over the years with the friends we made there. Now it's a bit late to renew old aquaintances I expect. I live in Australia with my Husband and 7 children and their families.
