i am direct descendant of james edge b1826 his father was william edge and mother was anne bould. all i know is in waterfall parish church a few years ago kneelrs were dedicated to them in the church. i am looking for people who have these people in tree or are realted to any of their descendants

I am the great great grandson of William & Louisa Allen formely of Townhead~ Stanton~ both are buried in Stanton churchyard. I am trying to trace any remaining family in the area. I know there was a book printed for the millenium celebrations called "Stanton a rural village~ past and present" I am also trying to obtain a copy~ also any photo graphs of William Henry Allen and Louisa Allen or thier children Ernest b1904~Bertram W b1906~ Henry b1907~Hilda E b1909~ Nora b1912~and Jessie b 1915.

I am a direct descendant of John Holmes (b abt 1764)and Sarah Holmes(b abt 1776)~ who were farmers in Stanton~ Staffordshire. Their son Benjamin also farmed in the same area in the 19th Century. Looking for my long-lost Green family from Alton~ Staffordshire. One of my great grandfathers was born in Alton~ 15 Oct 1809. His name was George Green and was the son of Joseph and Ann. I am a direct descendant of John Udall who married Elizabeth Bull at Ellastone on 9th November 1640. The family remained in the area~ from then on. I can not find John's birth in the parish registers for Ellastone. Has anyone any ideas how I may find out where he came from.
