In the 1901 census it shows Harry Young running The Elm Tree Pub he married a Isabella White in 1895 she was from Hartshill Warwickshire where her family lived but she was born Brimington derbyshire 1870, ,Isabella's sister was Emma Sayers Wilson and she was my Gt Grandmother,as a child in the 1950's I can remember takening my Gran Lizzie Wilson to stay with family in Radstock,I wonder if there is family in the area that were related to the YOUNGS Iwould love to hear from them!! Hi~ I am a great grand-daughter of William & Ann Barnes (Nee Dent) who were married at barnard Castle in the County of Durham before they immigrated to Australia. If anyone reconises these manes in there ancestry lines~ I would be very keen to hear from them. I am travelling to the UK shortly and will be visiting Barnard castle. Looking forward to finding (relations) from the same ancestry as me. The Barnes & Dent families are still a part of my family tree I am still filling in. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am researching the Pobjoy family who came from Norton St Phillip**Walter Pobjoy was born in 1576 in Norton St Phillip. He had a son James who married Elizabeth Grindland and a daughter Ann whho married Nathaniel Warren who were all from Norton St Phillip.**

Can anyone help me with information on the Cayford family~ namely Mary (Ann). She was born about 1854. Places of her birth have been Upton Noble Somerset and Hemington. She married Joseph Edwards. The children (5) were born in Skelton. Mary emigrated to Australia with her children in 1887. Husband Joseph is not listed on the ships log.**Mary is my Great Grandmother on my mother's side. Mary's parents may have been Worthy and Priscilla Cayford

I am trying to locate my paternal grandfathers ancestry. According to some knowledge he was called Arthur Dallimore and was born in 1895 but on the 1911 Census no known Dallimore of that name appears so maybe it was his preferred name. He left Somerset to come to Wigan in Lancashire and started in the Mining Industry

Can anyone help me with a real puzzle....My Great Grandfather~ WILLIAM WHITE bn 1878 in Wellow had a child to AMELIA SMITH bn 1875. The childs name was FLORENCE PRETORIA WHITE bn. 2nd June 1900. I can find no information on her atall. They all lived in High Street~ Norton in 1901. It seems the parents were never married and my Great Grandfather eventually went on to marry someone else~ but I would love to know the fate of Amelia and Florence. I know its a remote possibility!! but would anyone be able to shed any light on this. Many thanks
