Looking for descendants of Henry Ford b. 1793 and his wife Charlotte.

Their daughter Rachel Ford born 31-Mar-1820 baptised 27-Aug-1820 is my great-great grandmother. Her siblings include Eleanor Ford born 10-Apr-1815 baptised 06-Jul-1817 Jane Ford born 23-May-1817 also baptised 06-Jul-1817, and Ann Ford born 20-Jul-1829 baptised 06-Sep-1829. All Stoke Ash.

The Ford family moved to Cheshire some time after the death of Henry in 1829. Rachel Ford is listed in the 1881 census married to George Blease, Blacksmith and living in Rainow, Cheshire.

We are having a Woods Family Reunion in Australia on 4th October 2009. Looking for any info or relos of John & Esther Woods(nee Allum) who came to Australia on the Grand Trianon**in 1858. John was born abt 1836~ possibly at Walsham le Willows to possibly John & Martha Woods (widow Pleasance nee Pollard) and had a sister Mary~ born abt 1832 and married to Edward Ottley of Norton~ Suffolk. Esther (Easter) was 4th child of George & Ann Allum (nee Marshall) born 15 April 1838 at Stanton~ Suffolk. John & Esther married at Thetford on 25th March 1858. Sound familiar to anyone? Hi~ I have just started a new branch of my family tree. John Ford was born in c 1823 in Stoke Ash. He later moved to Cheshire and raised his family there including my great-great Grandmother~ Sarah Ann Ford who were all born in Congleton~ Cheshire. I cannot locate any info on John Ford being born in Stoke Ash. I don't want anyone to do the work for me~ rather just to perhaps point me in the right direction? Thank you. Marc

I am looking for anyone who has information on the Groom family from Wetheringsett~ Brockford and Mendlesham. My Greatgrandfather~ Robert Groom~ was born in Brockford in 1837 and married Sarah Ann Warner## his father~ also named Robert was a farmer in Mendlesham on the "School Farm". Does anyone know the location of that farm? Also~ are there any graves of the Groom family at St. Mary's or the Wetheringsett church? I live in the US and can't travel to the UK until next year~ so ANY info would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am looking for family info on Robert and Susannah Groom~ who lived in Mendlesham. He was born in 1807 in Mendlesham~ married Susannah (from Eye) and died in 1879 in Mendlesham (buried at St. Mary's). His son~ Robert Groom was born in 1836 in Wetheringsett cum Brockford~ married Sara Ann Warner in 1878 and by 1895 was working as a coachman in London. I am looking for ANY information~ especially living relatives in Wetheringsett or Mendlesham or anyone researching the Groom family tree.

I am interested in finding about my ancestors and the kind of life they would have lived in this area of Suffolk. My great grandparents Ernest and Catherine Lawrence lived in the village until 1970s. Ernest's father~Ephraim was born in Haughley about 1833 and his mother~Sarah Elzabeth Moss was born in Wetherden about 1843. I think Ephraim's father was Joseph born in Haughley 1802 and mother Elizabeth Elmer about 1804. The Green appears to have been an address of the family. Any information would be most gratefully received.

• Hello Sharon, My Husbands Grandmother was Elthea Lawerence she married a Murton. we do not know his Christian name they lived at Wetherden then Grandma married a George Bridges and lived at Haughley Green. also a lovely lady we only knew as Figgy was a Lawerence ( she was My husbands mothers cousin) she Married Stan Fellingham and lived at Haughley Green..my husbands family are all departed now of that generation but a huge family tree as there were two marriages
