As a child in 1960 I visited Fivemiletown and stayed with the Coulter family who operated a farm just outside Clabby. Their names were Tom his wife Ida and daughter Maureen. I am presuming it was Tom who was a descendant of my grandmother~ Mary Maria Coulter b.abt1868 in Fivemiletown and who maried Charles William Bailey In Brookeborough Church. If anyone knows of the Coulter family referred to I would be grateful for contact on my email.**Thanks

Trying to track my grandmother's family FOSTER fromTullyquin Fivemiletown. She was Elizabeth (Eliza or Lizzie) dau. of James Foster and Elizabeth (Wilson) Foster. Brothers William~ Robert~ Joseph~ Thomas~ Andrew~ Samuel ? and Alfred ? Sister Jane. Most came to US or Canada around early part of 20th century. Visited Uncle Tommy in 1960's and also his daughter Mary (May) Haslett~ grandchildren Raymond~ Esmond~ and Barbara. There was also a cousin Inez (Ines?)

• IM just finding out things about my two families the Maguires and Fosters from two cousins that Ive met recently online.. They have both been very helpful.. but I had always thought my great grandmother Eliz. Foster came from Clogher but now it seems it might have been Fivemiletown and she was Church of Ireland.. I was in the area recently looking for her grave in the Presbyterian church in Clogher but think now it might be Fivemiletown church she would be buried .. At the moment I know nothing about her except she worked for a Mr Trimble in Ballagh House Clogher..

coming back again~ the magnetism has got me now~ our third time in a year~ was always my dream to visit where my grandparents met~ and I want to find more info on Magures and Fosters~ grandfather George Foster was born in Clogher workhouse and lived in Harlow and Commerce st. any info would be welcome...

I visited Fivemiletown a few months ago~ for the very first time~ my grandparents came from there~ but left as teenagers to start new life in Glasgow~ their names were Margaret Maguire and George Foster~ my grans parents were John Maguire and Mary Ann Flanagan~ but when we visited~ we couldnt get much info on the~ can anyone help please~ my gran was born 1881 I believe~ her parents were married in St Marys Church in 1880~ she had three sisters~ Rebecca or Becky~ Mary Ellen and Eliz. or Liza~ and one brother Jim Maguire~ be glad of any help. oh sorry it was St Marys church in Brookborough where they were married. why I dont know.

Im just back from Ireland~ visited for the first time from Scotland~ went to every N.I. county for a visit and saw where my gt grandparents were married in Brookborough~ Im still trying to find any relatives of John Maguire~ Mary Ann Flanagan~ who married in the church there in 1880 my grandmother was born in 81 Margaret Maguire~ she had three sisters~ Bec or Rebeccam Mary Ellen~ and Liza or Eliz. and one brother Jim Maguire~ my gran met my grandfather George Foster and they came to live in Glasgow~ I cant find anything else on them if anyone knows of any names from the Brookeborough or Fivemiletown area will you get in touch~ thanks.
