A 34-year-old man has been found guilty of the manslaughter of England striker Jermain Defoe's half-brother.
Jade Defoe, who was known as his middle name Gavin, was killed by a single punch after an altercation with Christopher Farley, who faces jail after being convicted at the Old Bailey on Thursday.
Farley, 34, of Kingswood Road, Leytonstone, east London, had ridden up to Mr Defoe on a BMX bike and confronted him.
A row started and 26-year-old Mr Defoe, a father of three, fell to the pavement. He fractured his skull and suffered brain damage when his head hit the ground.
He died in hospital four days after the attack which took place in April 2009 in Newham, east London.
Tottenham and England striker Jermain Defoe, who was five months younger than his half-brother, rushed to his bed side upon hearing the news that he was unlikely to survive his injuries.
Farley admitted to police officers that he had a 'bad temper.'
He was also overheard by a prison officer saying in a phone conversation that "I did it
just one of those things."
