Works have commenced on site for the extension and reconfiguration of the school. We as Willmott Dixon,the contractor, are very keen to be a good neighbour during our time in the village. The site team led by Richard Priest are experienced in the building of schools in sensitive environments. We have been in contact with the Parish Council and the Community Liaison Officer. It would be good if we can utilise the UKvillages website to keep our neighbours informed of upcoming activities.
This weekend (Saturday 30th January) will see the removal of the Pre school from its current location to the rear of the school. These works will involve the use of a crane and lorry, both of which will be within the boundary of the school. We plan not to be disrupt the use of the lane outside the school.
