Welcome to Coopers Coops. The appeal of keeping chickens as pets at home with the bonus of endless fresh eggs started for me in spring of 2008. I decided to buy a coop to house some laying hens but after scouring the internet and local suppliers I was surprised at the limited range available, and the high prices. I wanted a coop that would fit my budget and last, but after having trouble getting the quality and style I required without spending the earth I decided to build my own. And that was the early beginning of Coopers Coops!

My first design was the DC1 (see homepage for photo sample), painted willow green to match my garden fence - all our bespoke coops can be given weatherproofing with the attractive colours available: see the colour pantone chart for your choice of natural colours - and the idea developed from there.
