Pete & Em from High Lane cubs have taken on the challenge and are going to walk 84 miles across Hadrians wall in 6 days. They will setting off on 1st June 2010 be walking an average of 15 miles each day while carring their kit and camping along the route.
They are looking for sponsers and support from local businesses to help them raise money for their two charities, North West Air Ambulance www.northwestairambulance.com & Orchid mens cancer charity www.orchid-cancer.org.uk.
Between now and 1st June they are holding fundraising events at High Lane Scout Hut where the whole family can take part. Which includes St Davids Day quiz night, Mothers day craft drop in, mothers day bingo night, Easter sunday egg hunt & fun day then St Georges day beetle drive & quiz night.
You can support them by going along to an event, sponsering them or even donating prizes for their 2 mega raffles one on Mothers day and the other on easter sunday.
