Gaydon Village Store has made an arrangement with Rix Heating Oils to provide oil to residents of Gaydon and surrounding villages at a competitive price. In addition to this, Gaydon Village Stores will receive just under 1/2 a penny per litre sold, helping firstly to raise the necessary money to open the shop; and once that is accomplished, to help keep the shop prices competitive.

As a comparison, Boiler Juice were quoting prices from 5 suppliers ranging from 51.99p to 58.50p per litre, whereas Rix were quoting 41p per litre. All quoted were based upon a supply of 1,000 litres.
