RESIDENTS battling plans to build almost 200 new homes on their doorstep are holding a campaign surgery at the weekend.
The Save Our St Osyth Campaign is opposing proposals for a large development off Mill Street.
Owners of the historic priory - the Sargent family - say the housing is needed to help fund multi-million pound repairs to the listed monument. But protestors say the homes - on protected land - will ruin the village.
The campaign is holding a surgery to let people know what's happening in the village hall annex this Saturday from 10am-4pm.
