A great time was had by all at Margo and Colin Wright’s Silver Wedding celebrations at Westbury Village Hall on Saturday 1 May.

A total of £372 was raised for charity, £104 on the Tombola alone for Childline and guests gave generously to “Cancer Research UK” www.cancerresearchuk.org  and also to Childline  www.childline.org.uk.

The music and buffet were superb. Alan Owen our local Westbury chef and his team worked very hard to help make the evening successful. Alan’s Mom Glenys Owen donated the lovely table arrangements and flower display.

Laura Styler provided the entertainment to every ones delight. It was her first official Solo Gig. Laura appeared in “Stars in Their Eyes” as Delta Goodrem in 2005. We all wish her luck in her future career.
